Over the past two years, parents and caregivers have had the challenging task of adjusting to a constantly changing environment and navigating a new world for our children and ourselves. The pandemic has also forced us to pause and re-evaluate our priorities in life, which has led us to reflect on ways to build a life that is more meaningful and fulfilling. Be it through stronger relationships and community connections, better health and wellbeing, or pursuing our passions and the things that inspire us and bring us joy.

Thanks to feedback we received last year, this year’s PIC Family Engagement Series provides tangible actions that parents and caregivers can use to increase resiliency and well-being. More specifically, strengthening family-child connections, improving health and well-being, and investing in community, belonging, and social inclusion.

Interested in joining one or all the sessions? The annual PIC Family Engagement Series, which is being held virtually on Wednesday, April 6 and Saturday, April 9, offers the WRDSB parent community an opportunity to come together and discuss issues that we share. As the saying goes, “together, we are stronger.” Let’s gather to learn from the experts and each other so we can build towards a future for ourselves and our children that we are proud of.

We look forward to having you join the sessions!
