School Council is excited to be hosting our annual Westheights Staff Appreciation Day this coming Friday and we need YOU to make it a great success!

Help us show appreciation to the teachers and staff of Westheights for all they do for our children. So much time and effort is contributed by the staff that goes well beyond the call of duty. Help us thank them!

We will be serving the staff breakfast and treats throughout the day, as well as providing a small gift on behalf of the students and parents. The students will also be involved in an activity to show their appreciation.

Are you able to help by:

  • Donating food and/or beverages. Squares, cookies, muffins, a fruit tray, a casserole or a bag of bagels and cream cheese or jam are just some ideas. If anyone would like to make a “teacher”/”school” themed cake, please let us know. All contributions must be delivered to the school on Thursday, May 7th between 6-7pm (immediately prior to the Spring Festival of The Arts or on Fri., May 8th between 7-7:15 am. If other arrangements are needed, please let us know. Donations of flowers are also appreciated.
  • Assisting with set-up and decorating the staff room on Thurs., May 7th from 5:30 – 6:45 pm.
  • Assisting with set-up and serving of food and coffee to staff on Fri., May 8th from 7:00 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. or from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
  • Helping with Staff Room Clean-Up 2:00 – 3:00 p.m.
