Regular attendance is important for continued growth in each student’s educational program. However, from time to time, illnesses, emergencies or other plans prevent a student from attending school.
With the Safe Arrival Program if your child is absent, and we have not received a call from you, we will telephone you to inform you of your child’s absence. This procedure is being mandated to help to ensure your child’s safe arrival at school.
All parents must assume the following responsibilities:
i) When your child will not be at school for any reason, you must telephone the attendance line before classes begin at 8:20 a.m. Please state the reason for the absence. Our Safe Arrival Phone Number (available 24 hrs. /day) is:
519-570-8142 (ext. 3902)
ii) Absences of five or more consecutive days must be reported to the office and completion of a Short Term Withdrawal Form is required.
Presently we are in need of volunteers to implement this program. If you are able to assist us with this, please contact the office at 519-744-3549.
