Dear Westheights families,

As your new Principal, I want to invite you to our next School Council Meeting this coming Monday, April 18 in our library at 6:30 PM. At this meeting I will be sharing my vision as a leader and my vision of students and education.

I have been an educator with the Waterloo Region District School board since 1988. The majority of my teaching career was in a grade 7 and 8 environment and I have been a Principal at Westvale, Keatsway and Riverside Schools. I am excited about joining the Westheights community and promoting public education and positive citizenship with your child.

I will also be seeking your input on a variety of issues that are important to all students. The issues will include many exciting topics such as: parent engagement, dress code, supports for students, understanding new curriculum initiatives, after school activities, community outreach programs, use of cell phones, and more!
