Dear Family:
Westheights School has arranged trips to the Chicopee Ski Resort for the 2016 season. The purpose of this co-curricular program is to introduce new skiers/ snowboarders to a lifelong recreational sport and to enhance the skills of intermediate skiers/ snowboarders.
Please read the attached information carefully and complete and sign the necessary sections on the following pages. All forms and payment are due no later than Friday, January 8, 2016. The first forms handed in (correctly completed and signed, with payment) will have priority. Chicopee requires payment for the entire four weeks at the beginning of the program and therefore refunds for any reason will NOT be provided.
2016 Dates:
Thursday, January 28; 3:15 – 6:00pm (lesson included)
Thursday, February 4; 3:15 – 6:00pm (lesson included)
Thursday, February 11; 3:15 – 6:00pm (lesson included)
Thursday, February 18; 3:15 – 8:00pm (lesson included)
Transportation:
Students will be provided with rides to Chicopee by school bus. Lift tickets expire at Chicopee close time.
*****ALL students must check out with Mr. Weinacht at the bottom of Tenderfoot (Right in front of the Chalet) before heading home each evening.*****
*****The family must arrange for pickup of their child from Chicopee after all sessions. There will be no bus transportation home.*****
If a student needs to leave early for any reason, or is staying at Chicopee past the pick-up time, a note must be brought to Mr. Weinacht at school on or before the particular date.
Cost:
Rental/lift ticket/three lessons/bus $120
Lift ticket/three lessons/bus $170
*Note: Chicopee does not offer any discounted price to season’s pass holders.
Carefully complete all necessary information on the following pages, sign, attach payment and return to Mr. Weinacht as soon as possible. Feel free to contact Mr. Weinacht at the school with any questions you may have.
